The software/server referred to throughout this set of pages is fundamentally unauthenticated - it is not necessary for the purposes of this site that anyone knows whether users are who they say they are.   Take this into account in your use of this site.

Intending users register a base identity profile/login, and then use this to create accounts, currencies and namespaces in those namespaces that they choose and are available to them.

Identity profiles should provide an email address for password verifications.  The email is not revealed to other users but available to system and namespace administrators.  

Namespaces for trading account names will normally (but not always) be open to applications from users, but namespaces can be unpublished.   Generally namespace administration approval will be required for access.   However, all registered identity profiles are automatically permitted to open trading accounts in the x namespace -joe.x, xk123.x, sleepy.x for example.  

An identity profile can have many trading accounts.  All names are unique.  

Any profile can declare/name a cc system and is then the steward of that system.  All cc system names are unique and are qualified by their host namespace.  

Identity profiles that specify a locality, region and country of origin can also apply to open trading accounts in a domain for that location - joe.ot.man.uk, marie.7th.paris.fr, billg.rdm.wa.us etc.  This is intended to allow interested users to locate each other in the real world, if they choose to begin considering real world trading.
