Open money (om) software supports multiple virtual currencies and users are able to create their own currencies on their own terms.   Otherwise it isn't open money.   An om server can have any design and data structure that meets these needs.  

However, for servers to support users in non-local cc, they must use the same naming conventions for users and cc, and must use a common protocol for data exchange.   The current om sites are applying (and evolving) a naming convention and data exchange protocol.

Data exchange for transactions will certainly include

• date / time
• source account id
• destination account id
• amount
• cc id
• text field for description
• and other fields, flags, tags ......
