Open money (om) is a simple idea - anybody anywhere can have their own free money (cc) with which they can record events and transactions.  It's as easy to use as email groups...and like email, the more players the better the game.

Anybody can open multiple accounts and use many community currencies (cc) - in how many groups, networks, associations, communities do you want to use internal, recirculating cc to keep track of trading?

Open money software makes the creation and use of these currencies available anywhere in the world with a computer and a phone connection.  However, recording transactions in a mutual credit system can be done with sticks, stones or paper - connecting to other systems requires intersystems protocols and agreements.

Any group of people/businesses/organizations can have community currencies (cc) of their own. It's free money for everybody, and god knows, everybody could use some.

So, play the game, use it for real, become a domain steward, invite others to help, create currencies, populate them with friends and colleagues.
